Encore is a hand-painted bowl from the Mon Amour Valentine’s collection, inspired by French language, culture, and my experiences learning French and traveling to Paris. Layered pink and red hearts continue on and on, reflecting the name and the theme of endless love.

Each piece is wheel-thrown, hand-sculpted, hand-painted, and uniquely finished by Spencer Elizabeth. Every ceramic vessel is bisque fired at 1850°F, glazed, dried, and then fired again at 2230°F to achieve its final form. Depending on the technique and complexity, completing a single piece can take one to two weeks, allowing time for careful painting, drying, and multiple firings.
Every vessel is one of a kind — subtle variations and imperfections are part of its natural beauty, giving each piece its own character. This multi-step, time-intensive, and humbling process is both challenging and deeply rewarding, and a grounding practice for the artist. Each mug, bowl, or vessel is crafted to bring elegance, mindfulness, and serenity to your daily rituals.
