Each event is intended to encourage presence, grounding, and connection to yourself and to others, offering the chance to slow down, explore your creativity, and practice with clay in a reflective, welcoming space.
Valentine's Pop-Up at Onyx Gift & Books — Mon Amour Collection Drop
February 7, 2026 | 12- 3pm
The Grounding Studio is excited to partner with Onyx Gift & Books—a Black-owned bookstore that celebrates Black authors and artists—to celebrate Mon Amour, my first Valentine’s collection. This pop-up is open to all and invites you to stop by, browse, and celebrate the season of love.
Mon Amour, meaning “my love” in French, reflects my love for pottery, my ongoing journey learning the French language, and time spent visiting Paris over the years. Inspired by the many ways love is spoken—amour, amore, amor—each handcrafted piece features a Valentine-themed name in French, weaving language and intention into the collection.
Come celebrate love in all its forms, enjoy a first look at my collection, and find something special to share with loved ones—or treat yourself this Valentine’s Day. Following the pop-up, Mon Amour will be available online.
Valentine's Wheel-Throwing Workshop at 360 Pottery Studio

The Grounding Studio is excited to partner with 360 Pottery Studio for a Valentine’s wheel-throwing workshop set in a calming, welcoming environment. Open to all—whether you’re coming solo, with a partner, a friend, or making it a Galentine’s night—this experience invites you to slow down, play with clay, and celebrate love in all its forms through creativity and intention.
In this guided workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing while creating a heart-shaped bowl from start to finish. No experience is necessary, and all materials, glazing, and firing are included, so you can fully immerse yourself in the process.
Enjoy wine and light refreshments as you unwind and indulge in a thoughtfully curated evening of grounding, creativity, and presence.
Grounding in Clay: a mindful hand building workshop

Join The Grounding Studio at Onyx Gifts & Books for a grounding ceramic practice centered on presence, creativity, and intention.
In this guided experience, you’ll hand-build one or two mugs using the coiling method, creating the perfect set to cozy up with your favorite reads. No experience is necessary, and all materials and firing are included, so you can fully settle into the process in a calm, welcoming environment.
Sip wine and enjoy light refreshments as you move through this meditative practice, then explore Onyx Gifts & Books, highlighting books and gifts by Black authors and artists—an evening to ground yourself, create with intention, and leave with a piece made entirely by you.
